SharePoint Integration
Transform your SharePoint document libraries with AI-powered file organization. Process documents automatically as they are uploaded to SharePoint sites, maintaining enterprise security and compliance.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Do you copy our SharePoint data?
- We read files to extract text and fields, generate the correct name, and write back to the same library. We do not reshare or expose files; access follows your tenant permissions.
- Where is processing done?
- Processing runs in our secure cloud with regional hosting options. Only metadata needed for renaming is stored (e.g., resulting filename and rule).
- Will existing permissions remain?
- Yes. Files stay in your SharePoint site and retain existing permissions and version history.
- How long does setup take?
- Typical enterprise setup is under 15 minutes once Azure permissions are approved. A guided checklist is provided.

Setup Guide
Follow these steps to get started in minutes
Connect Microsoft (admin consent)
In renamed.to, open Integrations → SharePoint and click “Connect Microsoft”. Your tenant admin approves permissions once. We scope access later to specific sites/libraries.
Required Microsoft Graph scopes
- Sites.Read.All
- Files.ReadWrite.All
- offline_access
- User.ReadPick Sites & Libraries
Choose the SharePoint sites and document libraries to monitor. We create Graph subscriptions and use delta queries to process only changes in those libraries.
Choose Naming Templates
Select Auto (recommended) or pick a ready-made template per library. You can also add a custom instruction in plain English and preview results before enabling.
Template example (natural language)
"Start with date (YYYY-MM-DD), then supplier name, then 'Invoice' and invoice number. Remove spaces and special characters."
