renamed.to is an AI-powered utility that automatically renames your PDF, image and document files based on their contents. It extracts structured data such as invoice number, date or company name using OCR and machine learning, so you never have to rename files by hand again.

How does the renaming process work?

Simply drag & drop one or many files onto the uploader (or call our API). Our backend performs OCR and natural-language understanding to detect key attributes, then applies your chosen naming template. Within seconds you can download a neatly renamed batch.

Which file types are supported?

We currently support PDF files. Additional formats such as images (JPG, PNG, TIFF, HEIC), Word documents, and Excel spreadsheets are on our roadmap. Each file type will be processed with specialized AI models for optimal accuracy.

How accurate is the AI renaming?

Our AI achieves 95%+ accuracy across most document types. The system learns from corrections you make, improving accuracy over time. For critical workflows, we recommend spot-checking the first few batches.

How long does processing take?

Most files are processed within 30 seconds. Large batches or complex documents may take up to 2-3 minutes. Processing time depends on file size, complexity, and current server load.

Can I customize naming templates?

Absolutely! You can create custom templates using variables like {invoice_number}, {date}, {company_name}, etc. Templates are saved to your account and can be reused across projects.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Your files are transmitted over HTTPS, processed in memory inside EU-based servers and deleted automatically after 24 hours. We never share your data with third parties and follow industry-standard security practices for data handling.

How much does it cost?

Every new account gets 50 free credits—enough to try renamed.to on real files. After that you simply purchase credit packs as you need them. For example, 1,000 credits cost $9 and credits are valid for 12 months.* No subscriptions or hidden fees.

Can I integrate renamed.to into my workflow?

Absolutely. We provide a REST API and Dropbox integration so you can trigger renaming from your cloud storage. Zapier integration is coming soon. Enterprise customers can also use our webhook system for automated processing.
