Frequently Asked Questions

Do my files leave my server?
Yes, for processing. A copy of the file is sent to our secure API for analysis and is deleted immediately after processing. The renamed file is saved back on your Nextcloud instance.
Is this a free app?
The Nextcloud app itself is free and open-source. However, it requires a renamed.to account, which has free and paid tiers based on usage.
Can I use my own on-premise AI models?
Not at this time. The integration relies on the renamed.to cloud API for its OCR and LLM capabilities.
